Storing
Cargo storing and warehouse handling is, rather, the most powerful type of Komora-S company activity. Here are only the basic operations that are carried on at our warehouses, whose total area currently reaches 68,000 sq. m.:
- commodity bailment;
- loading and unloading work;
- commodity sorting;
- commodity marking;
- batching (consolidating); and
- cargo palletizing.
Warehouse premises are equipped with heating, fire and burglar alarm systems, primary firefighting means, rack systems for product storage and are provided with necessary warehouse machinery (stacker trucks, fork-lift trucks, electric trolleys, etc.).
The accounting system, which has been developed specifically for warehouse purposes and tested, allows the on-line warehouse accounting the commodities of different status (not cleared/cleared, standard quality/rejects, etc.) with absolute degree of certainty while considering some of individual commodity characteristics (commodity codes, manufacture dates, etc.) thus providing a possibility of shipment under the FIFO principle. Besides, the accounting system allows generating required reporting documents with any specified regularity (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) per products of any type and any status, and providing established reporting forms in hard and soft copies. The system also allows accounting cargo storage times and operations fulfilled with those cargos in the process of storage as required to organize efficient tariff policy with regard to payment for services rendered.
All warehouse operations are based on specifically developed internal procedures and in strict compliance with established quality standards.
The warehouse infrastructure undergoes external audits by major client companies on annual basis.
